In 2004, the Chace sisters, Noelle D\u2019Intino and Sarah Chace, were having lunch with their parents when a life-changing idea took root. Noelle, with a degree in Speech and Language Pathology and 13 years in corporate banking, had recently been laid off. Sarah, holding a degree in Early Education, was working as a preschool teacher but was ready for a new challenge.<\/p>

Their father casually suggested, \u201cWhy not open a child care center? Noelle can run the business, and Sarah can teach.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0What started as an offhand comment quickly turned into an exciting plan. The conversation evolved from\u00a0“What if?”<\/em>\u00a0to\u00a0“Here we go!”<\/em>\u2014and on June 4, 2005,\u00a0ScribbleTime \u2013 A Center for Early Learning<\/strong>\u00a0was born. With just three classrooms and fewer than ten students enrolled, they embarked on a journey that would shape the future of early education in their community.<\/p>

Today, ScribbleTime has grown to\u00a0nine classrooms, a dedicated team of 30 early education professionals, and 114 students attending daily<\/strong>. Our mission remains steadfast: to create intentional, engaging learning experiences by prioritizing\u00a0health and safety, social-emotional development, academics, and a whole lot of fun!<\/strong><\/p>

Deep Roots in North Attleboro<\/strong><\/h3>

North Attleboro isn\u2019t just where we built our business\u2014it\u2019s been our family\u2019s home for generations, dating back to the 1800s. Our grandfather,\u00a0Harold Chace<\/strong>, founded\u00a0Chace Brothers<\/strong>\u00a0with his two brothers on May Street, playing a key role in the town\u2019s industrial growth and providing employment for many in our community. Our father,\u00a0Steve Chace<\/strong>, later took over the business, carrying on its legacy until his retirement.<\/p>

On our mother\u2019s side, community contributions continued through\u00a0Elco Carpets<\/strong>, a company that provided local jobs. Our grandfather,\u00a0Gene Charlebois<\/strong>, was also a dedicated philanthropist, giving back through organizations like the\u00a0Lions Club<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0United Way<\/strong>.<\/p>

A Full-Circle Moment: The Next Chapter<\/strong><\/h3>

As we celebrate\u00a020 years of ScribbleTime in 2025<\/strong>, a remarkable opportunity has come our way\u2014the chance to purchase the\u00a0historic Grace Episcopal Church<\/strong>. Interestingly, this was the very first location we considered when we launched ScribbleTime in 2005. Adding to its significance, our beloved grandmother,\u00a0Grace Chace<\/strong>, lived just up the street. She was an incredible influence in our lives, and we know she would have loved to see this next chapter unfold.<\/p>

With extensive experience in\u00a0renovation, expansion, and operations of child care centers<\/strong>, we have also become expert consultants for early learning centers across Massachusetts and the country. We are well-versed in all aspects of this project and look forward to bringing new life to this historic landmark in North Attleboro.<\/p>

Today, ScribbleTime is a leader in early education and well known across the nation for it’s high-quality early education and operations.\u00a0<\/p>
